Andreas Baader, Ulrike Meinhof e Gudrun Ensslin combattono una violenta guerra contro ciò che percepiscono come
la nuova faccia del fascismo: l'imperialismo americano sostenuto dalle istituzioni tedesche nelle quali ancora agiscono
uomini dal passato nazista. Il loro scopo era quello di riuscire a creare una società piú umana ma
l'utilizzo di strumenti disumani con i quali diffusero terrore e spargimento di sangue fu proprio ciò che gli
fece perdere la propria umanità. L'uomo che piú li comprese fu anche il loro piú irriducibile
cacciatore: Horst Herald il capo delle forze di polizia.
